Our clients built their dream home on a private island in the Florida Keys. Home to sun, azure waters and, unfortunately hurricanes. We were able to outfit them with completely off-grid solar system that provides most of their power and a diesel generator as a back up. This installation was truly tested in 2017 when Hurricane Irma passed right over it. The owners happily had power and AC the next day when no one else in the keys did.

The homeowners of this beautiful lake home wanted to reduce their reliance on diesel-generated energy as much as possible. We installed low profile solar tiles on their roof to provide nearly all of the solar they would need for daily use. The homeowners burn very little diesel which allows them to enjoy the tranquility of lake life in rural Alabama.

Energy is expensive in the islands. Many people choose to make the investment into solar to offset those costs. We were able to provide US made Panasonic panels with inverters to tie into the grid and off-set energy costs especially during the hot and humid Caribbean summer.
