Residential Installs :: Stuart Home

Customer goal: Substantially cut their electric bill while keeping the holes in their roof to a minimum.

Result: System is producing as expected.

Collectors: 5780 Watts of Uni-Solar Laminates (Combination of 68,124 and 136 Watt laminates)

Inverter: PVP 4800 inverter with internet connection.

Comments: This system is the first installation in the area of the Uni-Solar laminates on a “Solar V” 4V crimp roof. A normal 5V crimp cannot have solar laminates due to the “V” in the middle. The Solar V replaces the middle V with a inverted tray for the screws. The tray is then covered with a butyl tape and the laminate is installed over the panel.

-This system is split between 2 buildings with Solar on the main house and the garage. The DC from the home is transferred in an underground trench to the inverter in the garage where the solar from the garage is also connected. The AC then goes back to the main house in a different trench. The inverter can be monitored remotely through the internet.

-Solar Laminates over a “4V Solar ready roof” First in the area for this system.
